Cork Traveller Women’s Network is a community development project working for Traveller rights, leadership, culture and heritage.

We are very proud to be an organisation fully led by Traveller women.

Who we are

CTWN has a small team of part time staff and a dedicated group of volunteers from the community.

We are a network of Traveller women’s groups in Cork and provide a space for Traveller women to support each other, have a voice and work for change around issues affecting our lives.

CTWN receives core funding through the HSE South Western Traveller Health Unit & the HSE South Community Work Department

CTWN values and ethos

Is Traveller led and aims to be an attractive, open and safe place for Traveller women
Is committed to community development as grassroots movement for social change

Engages with Traveller women based on our unique life experiences and supports Traveller women as decision makers

Where are we?

CTWN has a base at the Triskel Arts Centre in the heart of Cork city, as well as linking with Travellers and Traveller women’s groups across the city and supporting the Meelagh Traveller community development project in Mahon.
